Every couple of days I have to rebuild the shader cache. Początkowo opublikowane przez 0ld4ge:I have the same problem. Also, i'm fairly confident that whatever the issue is, it is also causing loss of performance for players who don't even have the issue.
I am willing to do some manual patching/modification to get things working but ultimately it is not my responsibility. There are other posts on other sites/forums with the same problem. This is clearly an issue with Advanced Warfare alone.
I have dozens of pc games on this laptop and none of them have even the slightest issue runnng at mid-high settings. Not just because it is impossible for me, being that my computer is a laptop. This should be fixed since i'm not the only one with the issue.Īlso, i find your solution to be unacceptable. The issue is that the loading time with Shader Preload is way too long, or the heavy (unplayable) stuttering for the first 2-3 minutes with shader preload off. I can also turn everything up to high (except multisample AA obviously) and still get a good framerate. I am able to run cached shadows without the low quality texture glitch. As stated, I have the R7 m265 which has 2gb of DDR3. Thanks for your input but i find it to be somewhat inaccurate. I have 2 gb R7 270X and it runs the game at 91 fps but defender fails to load with preloading shaders on so I'm forced to hitch at the start of some rounds. I know it sucks but you literally have no choice but to get a card that is a better card with 4gb VRAM or deal with hitching at the start of rounds for x seconds. You fail to load in to the map because you basically time out (game starts and connection hangs up because your load took to long) and in order for the cache options to not look like low detail you have to have massive amounts of VRAM which will also get rid of a lot of the hitching at the start. This appears to be a widespread issue, and that can be disappointing to those that wanted to log into Modern Warfare or Warzone and work on their battle pass or earn that brand new camo.Ĭall of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.Początkowo opublikowane przez Chameleon_Silk:unless you have fast SSD with 8 GB of decently fast RAM and a video card that has 4 GB VRAM and can use shader preload and cache shadow spots goodluck solving these issues. Still, several players across all different types of social media have reported running into this matchmaking bug, so it's not only affecting a small subset of users. Infinity Ward tends to act quickly when things like this happen, especially in Warzone, and it has a knack for deploying hotfixes with extreme speed. While these matchmaking issues are undoubtedly frustrating, they'll likely be addressed and fixed by Infinity Ward before the weekend is over.
The data pack download size weighs in at around 15 GB on all platforms, and it's a necessary download on top of all the patches and updates. Infinity Ward has recently made several changes to Modern Warfare and Warzone this week, most notably the addition of a data pack that is required to access both titles. Neither Activision nor Infinity Ward has yet to acknowledge the matchmaking issue, although a hotfix will likely be released sometime in the next few days. Eventually, some players do find a match, but others have seen incredibly lengthy queue times for both Modern Warfare multiplayer and Warzone. The matchmaking process begins with the typical searching notification before increasing the acceptable ping threshold higher and higher with no result. When queuing up for a match, players have been running into unusually long matchmaking times. This update also made a highly controversial change to Warzone's bounties, which was reverted with the most recent patch.
Infinity Ward released a patch earlier this week for Modern Warfare and Warzone that introduced a new weapon and Obsidian mastery camo alongside the usual playlist update and bug fixes. Many players across Modern Warfare and the free-to-play standalone battle royale mode Warzone are reporting that they are facing extended wait times when waiting to get into a match. A new patch is causing longer than usual matchmaking times in both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone.
